Fresh Market opens Wednesday
The Fresh Market, a specialty grocer that focuses on fresh foods, will open its new store at Westlake Shopping Center at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The 25,000-square-foot store will be the fifth in Illinois for North Carolina- based The Fresh Market, which now has 89 stores in 17 states.
Each store features a large produce department, full-service meat and seafood counters, deli and prepared foods, in-store bakery, floral and gift department, and specialty groceries.
The Peoria store, which will employ 90 people, is being developed by Cohen Development Co., founder and chief developer of Westlake Shopping Center.
Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The store’s phone number is 679-2000.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
