First, Schnucks remodeled, then Hy-Vee opened. And now, Fresh Market. Peoria is bursting with shopping options.
Fresh Market, a Greensboro, N.C.-based chain with more than 90 stores in 19states, is opening its Peoria location Aug. 25.
The store, located at 2601 W. Lake Ave., will open at 9 a.m. Grand opening activities include outdoor grilling, chef demonstrations and food sampling throughout the store. Sample-size bags of Fresh Market’s gourmet coffee and reusable shopping bags will be given to the first 1,000 customers.
Fresh Market will boast nearly 25,000-square-feet of space, including a bakery that will make 30 types of fresh baked breads and 14 different pies daily. There also will be a full-service meat counter, with butchers that grind beef. Fresh seafood also will be delivered to. the store several times a week. More than 200 imported and domestic cheeses will be offered.
The store will have a large produce department, with more than 400 produce items and a large organic section, Fresh Market also likes to offer locally grown produce.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
